Book Signings and Events

I will be at the Wigan Words Festival on Thursday 22nd May 2014 as part of an author historical fiction panel.

I will be speaking at Wigan library on Saturday, 6th April 2013 at 2 p.m. as part of the Wigan Words Festival. Come along and hear about my research into the legend of Mab’s Cross for my second novel, An Honourable Estate.

I will be talking to readers at Poulton library on Wednesday, 20th February 2013 at 2 p.m.   Do come along if you live in the area.

I enjoyed meeting readers at Knott End library on Tuesday 29th May 2012. Their reading group had read The de Lacy Inheritance and I enjoyed chatting with them about the story, the characters and the links with real history.

I was also very pleased to find that the library had a copy of the large print version and I got my first proper look at the cover.

They’ve invited me back to talk to them again!

I wasn’t sure what to expect but I had a very enjoyable afternoon chatting about The de Lacy Inheritance and my non-fiction books at Waterstone’s in Bolton. The staff were welcoming and enthusiastic and really made me feel at home. I’d like to thank them for the warm welcome. And I met some interesting people – some of whom were willing to take a risk and buy a copy of the book. I’d like to thank them too. Happy reading everyone!

Hi, My name is Janet Elizabeth Lacy and I am a direct descendant of Henry De Lacy, 3rd Earl of Lincoln. I came across this page and was wondering if you plan on coming to NYS? I would love a book and to have one signed. Thanks so much!

  2. I’m a de Lacy on my mother’s side and my grandfather, who is 91, is very proud of the family name (although we have never traced ourselves back further than the 18th C). It would be great to hear you speak if you ever come up to Cumbria… do you ever come up this way?
