The Cotton Spinner, the first book in the Mill Town Lasses series will be published on 16th April. I had been planning such a lovely book launch involving the local library here in Blackburn, and possibly some book signings. But, as you can imagine, Covid-19 has put a stop to that!
So I’m planning an online launch instead, here and on my Facebook author page.
With nowhere else to go, I’ll be around on the day to chat and share pictures, background research and maybe even an excerpt from the book! I hope some of you may drop by for a while.
The Cotton Spinner will be available as an ebook and a paperback. If you want an ebook you can order and pre-order from Amazon as usual, but there’s some doubt about availability of the paperback on Amazon as they concentrate of stocking essentials during the current crisis. But there is good news. You can order the paperback from HIVE. Just follow the link! Hive supply independent book stores as well as delivering to you personally at no extra cost. The book is also cheaper on Hive than on Amazon. I didn’t know about them before, but I think in the future I’ll be ordering my books from them.
I’m so disappointed not to be able to have a more personal launch and meet readers, but thank goodness for the internet, which is the next best thing and means more people can join in. I’m hoping that stories may help to give people a break from their fears and worries and loneliness at this troubled time.
From an Ashworth from across the pond, this is what I do. Keep writing……!!!!!!! >
I will!
